introduction

I've posted the False Arrays article. It's not much to look at and 'oh-so-simple', but I had the time, and it's short. I think I've used this in a half-dozen programs in the recent past and I've found it's 8 lines of code very helpful.

No, the site is not technically abandoned. I've taken the time to update it haven't I? However, my original purpose for it has changed. To be honest, since I've gone back to consulting I've been a little reluctant to release some of the tricks that I use. The cardinal rule seems to be "one consultant never trains another consultant". And surprisingly, I've received very little business from these pages anyway, so investing a lot of effort into them is not as productive as I'd hoped.
If
time allows I hope to post some pictures of work I've done in the past to at
least showcase some possibilities should you wish to hire me to do similar
work.

I guess it's been longer than a week. Anyway, I posted a small article on how to write an array business function.
Enjoy.

Ok, I admit that I'm a lazy slob with this website stuff. That's alright though because I'm so 'up front' about it. The first step is always to admit that you have a problem.
I continue to have delusions of grandeur about making this thing look like a fantastic professional site, but there just doesn't appear to be enough hours in a day to actually accomplish that. Anyhow, I've noticed that the site had lost several links, so I'm uploading a fresh copy. I've also got an idea for a new article. This little technique came in very handy on my last job. I'm hoping to have it up next week. That's assuming I get the time.

Greetings and welcome to yet another OneWorld Technology site. In this, my obligatory preamble, I suppose I should set some expectations. First, I'm not a web master, so I can't promise to make any of this actually look professional. This web template will serve it's purpose of offering me some exposure to you, the OneWorld public. And, hopefully you'll be able to leave here with some newfound insight of your own.
I should say that as a Technical Resource I will attempt to diverge from the common OneWorld solutions that can be garnered from JDE Technical support, or the tool itself. My focus, therefore, will be to offer either insights, or solutions that are apart from OneWorld, but still interact with the system in a seamless manner.
The real focal point of this site is the Articles section. In it I'm posting, albeit slowly, many of the Research and Development projects I've worked on over the last several months. OneWorld is indeed a strong tool, but at times it has limitations that call for an imaginative solution. Often times that means leaving the Toolset behind and venturing into solutions that can be somewhat unorthodox.
Also, these articles do take a fair amount of effort to write, so I won't promise that postings here won't be few and far between. I will try though to keep adding information in a timely manner.
Thanks for stopping by:
